Firearm Safety

Follow local range rules, IE Slow Fire only, Maximum allowable rounds per firearm, caliber restrictions

Treat every firearm as if it is loaded at all times

Never point or aim any firearm at any thing you are not willing to destroy

Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire

Always be aware of what is behind your target, you are responsible

Never go shooting while under the influence of any mind or body influencing chemicals, legal or illegal

Parents, teach your children how important firearm safety is, by example first coaching second  this builds a positive character

Always when on a range indoor or outdoor wear hearing and eye protection at all times

Firearms are to be pointed down range always  unless being transported

Cease Fire, Cease Fire, Cease Fire; can be called out by anyone and everyone should stop whatever they are doing empty the chamber and set your piece on the table pointing down range

You should wear a brimmed hat, long sleeves- no low neck lines and have sufficient clothing to accommodate the weather

When not provided, bring something to clean your hands, water to drink, snacks or meals

Shooting is an American Tradition, a family tradition

When our children are old enough, coordinated enough, and are able to have proper hearing and eye protection please partake of this safe past time

Shooting is nothing as portrayed in the media; patience, discipline, responsibility, technical training, courtesy, respect, breath control and body movement along with concentration are all interwoven to become skilled
