Brownells / NRA Day - A safe and enjoyable day at the range!
A fun, friendly and safe family event!
Brownells / NRA Day events are held in May & September every year at the Conservation Club of Kenosha County in Wisconsin.
All ages can, and are encouraged to, participate and shoot at the Brownells / NRA Day; which is designed specifically for novice shooters.
We have had nearly one thousand participants in the past five years who have enjoyed this safe and friendly introduction to the preeminent American culture.
This event continues an American cultural tradition and a constitutional obligation of citizenship.

- One on one coaching
- .22 caliber rifles
- Handguns of various calibers

Plus, for those wanting to see how well they have applied their coaches advice, there will be a ten round scored competition with both the .22 caliber rifles and the .22 caliber handguns.
We recommend you bring long sleeves, a brimmed hat, sun block, water and insect repellent.
Lunches and water will be sold by Boy Scout Troop 673.
SLRA thanks and appreciates all participants in these safe and fun events as well as the US Navy small arms instructors for their time and devotion.
